The Château is located at 2 Rue de Bourgogne, 71270 Charette-Varennes, France. However that address will take you to the back entrance. Use this google maps link to get to the guest entrance!
Best Option - Car Rental: We highly recommend renting a car in Paris and enjoying the beautiful 3.5 hour drive through the French countryside, then you can more easily continue on your travels after… South of France anyone?!?Group Shuttle: If enough people are interested we can coordinate a round trip shuttle from Paris to the Château (departing Paris June 9th at noon and returning the morning of June 12th). It will be approximately €100 per person.
Train: There are direct trains from Paris (TGV) to either Chalon Station or Dole Station (2 hour ride) plus and additional 30+ minute cab ride. Please book your cab through the Château, as local taxi drivers can not be booked in advance and are often unreliable. The combination of train tickets and cab will be approximately €130 per person. -
The wedding party and our immediate families are all staying in the Château, luckily there is room for many of our additional guests as well.
Once all guests RSVP by 11/30 (hopefully!) we will finalize our room allocation sheet and let you know. For guests staying off-site, we will connect you with the near-by B&Bs (they are literally a 2 or 10 min walk away)! The Château will send payment links directly to guests, and for all non-Château guests, we will work with you to secure additional accommodations.

We are so thrilled that your little ones are coming! We've chosen kid friendly meals for them, there's a playground on site, and cots and cribs are available for €50 each!
If enough parents are interested, we can have babysitters available as well for about €40 per night, per kid (could be less if many parents want to do it).Our plan is to break up the children by age and have separate "kids camps," with movies in the den for the older kids, and a nursery set up for the babies. We've got about 14 kids coming so let us know if you want to be included!

All guests will be joining us for Welcome Dinner on 6/9, Cocktail Hour Appetizers & Reception Dinner on 6/10, and Pool Party Brunch & Pizza Dinner on 6/11.
For guests staying at the Château there is also a massive breakfast spread daily (our expanded waistlines post-visit can attest that it is very good). And there will also be light sandwiches provided on wedding day around noon.
There is also a guest kitchen that we will have stocked with snacks, beverages, and French goodies! If you have dietary restrictions let us know when you RSVP so that we can accommodate you! -

Most of our recommended accommodations serve breakfast, so the only meal not covered is lunch on wedding day.
Light sandwiches will be served at the Château around noon. If you'd like to be included, come by the Château early! But please let us know in advance so we can make sure there are extras! -
Temperate and lovely! Should be in the mid 60s-high 70s. Slightly cooler in the evening so you may want a light jacket. Very low chance of rain, but it could happen - in which case we will move inside or into a tent!

Weather permitting (please pray for sunshine) all our events and meals will be outside, in the lavender fields, on the lawn, or by the pool!
Ladies - chunky heels are your friends! Please don't wear stilettos, they will sink in the grass and you will be sad. -
There is ample parking for all guests and their rental cars on site!

We highly recommend arriving in Europe at least 3 full days before June 9th so that you have time to acclimate to the time difference.
Also use this as an excuse to go explore Paris!! If you want recs, let us know. Whitney has an extensive map of our fave spots!

Converters: We all know Europe uses different power outlets, so you will need to bring an adapter (or two). BUT what we recently learned is that many hot tools (curlers/ straighteners/ wardrobe steamers) will not work even with the correct adapter. The voltage needs to be 220-240.
Voltage converters do exist but are often unreliable. Plan for your hair accordingly.
Shoes: Weather permitting all our events will be outdoors and on grass. Ladies - chunky heels are your friends! Please don't wear stilettos, they will sink in the grass and you will be sad.
